Cooper Cronk has been capped off an outstanding 2016 season, being named the winner of the 2016 Rugby League World Golden Boot.
Cronk, 33, is the first time he has been crowned the world’s best rugby league player and follows his second Dally M Player of the Year honour, which he shared with Cowboys forward Jason Taumalolo.
Cronk who played his 300th games in 2016, only the 25th player to do so in NRL history,led Storm in try and line break assists and ranked third for tries scored.
He lead Queensland to another State of Origin Series win and displayed his skills for the world to see in the Four Nations in England, where he was awarded the Four Nations player of the tournament.
Cronk’s only goal now is to win a premiership with the Melbourne Storm in 2017.
