Salford Red Devils has confirmed winger Daniel Vidot will depart the club by mutual agreement.
Red Devils Ian Blease said: “Daniel has requested to return to Australia to be close to his family.
“As a club we have agreed to this request and would like to thank Daniel for his efforts.
“We realise that his performances didn’t quite achieve our shared ambitions and we are now actively searching the market for a suitable replacement.”
Head Coach Ian Watson added: “Daniel came across to give it a fair crack, he struggled with injuries early on which didn’t allow him to get up to speed as quickly the other boys and he’s struggled with some family issues,”.
“We understand that family is hugely important for Daniel who provides a lot for his love ones, and we were never going to stand in his way when he said he wanted to go back.”
Vidot is now expected to put pen to paper with the Gold Coast Titans on a 2-year-deal worth around $250-300,000 per season.
