Clint Gutherson has re-signed with Parramatta, extending his contract until the end of the 2019 season.
Tipped to get the first crack at partnering Corey Norman in the halves in 2017, Gutherson, 22, managed to play all 24 games for the Eels in his first season at the club, earning praise from coach Brad Arthur.
“Clint is a great talent and has already made his mark on our team in his first season,” said Head Coach Brad Arthur.
“He has added a great deal of skill into our back line and I’m looking forward to seeing him create more opportunities when the next season kicks off in 2017.”
Parramatta seemed to be headed in the right direction after their 2016 salary cap scandal that lost them 12 premiership points and a fine. Gutherson joins Manu Ma’u and Corey Norman and with extended contracts until the 2019 season.
