Harrison Hansen Weighing up Future with Leigh

Leigh Centurion Forward Harrison Hansen undecided on where he will be in 2018.

The 31-year old Former Wigan and Salford forward joined Leigh Centurion at the end of the 2015 season on a 2-year deal.


Hansen is now contemplating a move from Leigh with the Centurions a real threat of being relegated from Super League after just one season back in the competition.

Hansen has been a solid contributor for the Centurions and the club is looking to retain the 31-year old and is understood to have offered hansen a 1-year contract extension. But, it understood Hansen is looking for a long-term contract and has informed the club that he will wait until the conclusion of the 2017 campaign.

A return to Wigan could be on the cards, with the Warriors showing interest in bringing Hansen back to there club, where he made 243 appearances.


Wigan will need to fight off rivals Leeds Rhinos who is also interested in the 31-year for 2018 as they look to strengthen their forward pack.

Canadian Franchise the Toronto Wolfpack have also been rumoured to be interested in Hansen and are willing to offer a handsome salary to entice Hansen to join the club that is expected to gain promotion to the Championship League in 2018.

Hansen has made 324 Super League appearances since making his debut for Wigan in the 2004 season.
