Tautau Moga is exploring his option for 2018 as he visits Newcastle.
Moga, 23, joined the Broncos on a 2-year deal at the end of the 2016 season and was a shock inclusion for round 1, with Wayne Bennett naming Moga over David Mead.
Even though Moga has featured in all of the Broncos 14 games this season, his position in the side for 2018 with be under threat with the signing of Jack Bird.
Bird is expected to play in the centres, with Bennett favouring a Kodi Nikorima and Anthony Milford halves combination, after Nikorima’s impressive form, whilst filling in for the injured Ben Hunt.
With his position now under threat Moga is understood Bennett has informed the former Rooster and Cowboy that he is free to talk to rival teams. Moga is not wasting anytime either, already seen making a visit to the Newcastle Knights, with the thought of replacing the departing Dane Gagai, who recently signed with the South Sydney Rabbitohs for the 2018 season.
Moga is expected to make a decision on his playing future within the coming weeks.
