The four Burgess brothers are set to be reunited in Sydney next year.
Luke, who is the oldest of the four, announced his retirement from rugby league last week after he helped Salford Red Devils retain their Super League status for 2019.
Burgess made over 200 first-grade appearances and he will now move back to Sydney to be closer to his young family.
The Burgess brothers became the first set of four brothers to line up in the same Australian side since Ray, Roy, Rex, and Bernard Norman played for Sydney’s Annandale club in the 1910 NSWRFL season.
After beginning his career with Leeds Rhinos, where he won the Super League in 2009, Burgess had spells with National Rugby League (NRL) sides South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly Sea Eagles.
After returning to England, Burgess helped the Red Devils secure their Super League status by winning the 2016 Million Pound Game away at Hull KR.
It is rumoured that he will get an off-field job with the Rabbitohs.
