Returning Manly Coach is looking to rebuild the under performing club and he has set his sights on Cronulla forward Wade Graham.
The 28-year-old co-captain is coming off an injury ravaged season and will be hoping to get some consistent footy under his belt and it is understood that his wishes are to re-sign with Cronulla, but a deal is yet to be struck and It is understood Hasler is ready to swoop.
It’s understood the Sharks are hesitate to pay Graham his asking price if his injury concerns continue to plague him.
Hasler, however is willing to take that risk, adding one of the most dangerous forwards in the game today to his forward pack that consists of Martin Taupau and Jake Trbojevic
Graham has made 219 NRL appearances, seven Blues’ appearances and six Tests, Graham could have his pick of any club if the Sharks don’t lock him down and Des Hasler wants to be the club leading the chase for his services in 2020.
