Dave Furner’s start as the boss of Leeds Rhinos has not gone as planned after some big signing had plenty of hype around the league.
The Rhinos are yet to manage a win in 2019 and have suffered heavy defeats, dealt by Warrington in the opening round (26-6) and then Wigan the following round (34-16).
After 2018 disappointing season, where one of Super League’s power houses was staring down possible relegation finishing the regular season down at the bottom half of the table.
Director of Rugby. and club legend Kevin Sinfield is believed to be less than impressed and has believed to have Aussie duo Matt Parcell and Adam Cuthbertson that they are free to look elsewhere and would be granted a release from their contract if they found a suitable club.
Both Parcell and Cuthbertson have become fan favourites at the club and would be a shock to the fans if they were to depart the club this season.
Matt Parcell would be on the radar of certain NRL clubs looking for a versatile No.9, with Parramatta believed to already showing interest in the 26-year old.
Cuthbertson, 33, has been with the Rhinos since the 2015 season and has made 120 appearance for the club and has been a machine for the Rhinos in recent years, we expect their would be plenty of interest in the prop forward from rival clubs if Leeds decide that it’s time to clean house.
