AFL Clubs Best Midfielder Ranked for 2017

We select the best Midfielder from each team and rank them 1-18.

With the 2017 season just weeks away we look at who we believe is the best heading into the 2017 season.

18 Melbourne – Bernie Vince

Vince spent more time at half-back in 2016, as the Demons looked for more polish ball-users rebounding out of defence. Unlucky to get the 18th ranking, a very classy player in his own right and will be one of the Demons best in 2017.

17 North Melbourne – Jack Ziebell

The New Captain of the North Melbourne Football club, Ziebell needs to take his game to the next level to leap frog the names in front of him. Had his most consistent season in 2016 and looks to improve on that in 2017.

16 St Kilda – Jack Steven

A Ball Magnet for the the St Kilda football club, but needs to work on limiting his turnovers before he move up the list going forward.

14 GWS – Callen Ward

Tough Nut of the GWS who knows how to find the ball. No thrills players who Leon Cameron can rely on to get his job done, week in and week out.

15 Richmond – Trent Cotchin

The Leader of the Richmond football club, a talented in and under player and has the ability to run with the football. Quality player, but needs more support around him to take that next step to become elite.
