The Chicago Bears may to move Alshon Jeffery on, as injuries and his 4-game drug ban have the team doubting his worth.
The Bears applied the franchise tag to Jeffery last season (approximately 17 Million) but are now expected to let him hit free agency.
Jeffery has just 12 starts, 52 receptions for 821 yards and only 2 touchdowns. These are not the numbers the Chicago Bears had hoped for from their No.1 wide receiver who was their franchise player and for that reason if Jeffery’s asking price doesn’t decrease then the Bears will allow him to walk.
Jeffery, 26, is expected to explore his options before deciding on his future and he should find plenty of interested teams out their, as he is a Wide Receiver with 2 season over 1000 yard on his résumé.
With a quality offense and a quaility quarterback, Jeffery can easily put in WR 1 numbers next season, the question is now which team is going to snap him up?
