The Melbourne Storm table million dollar deal to Broncos five-eighth Anthony Milford
It is understood that Anthony Milford has held secret talks with Melbourne Storm Coach Craig Bellamy, about the opportunity to replace Cooper Cronk in the halves from 2018 and beyond.
The Brisbane Broncos are believed to have a offered Milford $900k per season over 3-years, but it is understood the Storm have trumped that offer and Anthony Milford is now leaning towards a move south.
The Storms offer is believed to be $1.1 million over 5-years, a figure the 22-year old is understood to be mauling over.
Wayne Bennett is believed to have told Milford he wants a decision on his playing future sooner, rather then later as he believes Milford’s ongoing contract saga has been having a negative impact on his performance.
Anthony Milford is one of the most exciting talents in the NRL today and has made 62 appearance for the Broncos after crossing from the Canberra at the end of the 2014 season where he made 42 appearance for the Raiders.
Milford is expected to make a decision on his playing future after the International Representative weekend where he is representing Somoa against current coach and England Coach.
