The Cronulla Sharks have reportedly re-sign Ben Barba on a 12 month contract.
Barba, 27, is set to return to his old club, just 2 months after his contract was terminated by Cronulla following Barba testing positive for cocaine.
Barba is required to serve a 12-match ban, his penalty for returning a positive drug test. The earliest Barba could he can return to playing duties will be round 13 of the NRL season.
Barba re-signed the deal with the Sharks upon returning to Australia after spending time in a Thai rehabilitation centre.
Barba will need to abide by strict conditions that will be placed on his, which a comprehensive rehabilitation plan, if he is to return to the NRL in 2017.
