The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs Board are set to sack Des Hasler
It is understood the Bulldogs Board members have called a emergency board meeting after the Bulldogs 36-0 thumping at the hands of the Manly Sea Eagles.
Less then a week after the Wests Tigers sacked Jason Taylor, it is understood that Bulldogs board believe the 36-0 defeat is the final straw and they need a change of direction.
With Ivan Cleary on the verge of signing with the Wests Tigers, the Bulldogs opening may make Cleary think twice and reassess both lists before making his final decision.
Hasler barely survived a board meeting at the end of the season and was given a ultimatum for 2017 and that was be a top 4 team or else.
The Bulldogs currently sit 14th on the ladder after 4 rounds, with just the one win coming against the Warriors in round 3.
The Announcement of Hasler’s sacking is expected within the next 48hrs, as the club sets their sights in Ivan Cleary.
