DeSean Jackson Heading to Tampa Bay

DeSean Jackson is one of the hottest names on the free agency list and looks set to sign with the Buccaneers?

Jackson, 30, who had 56 catches for 1,005 yards and four touchdowns last season is looking to sign his last big contract, which may force him to depart the Redskins as they will not be able to compete of what he could earn on the open market.

Jackson current salary at the Washington Redskins is approximately $8,000,000 per season, but it is believe he could fetch any where between $10-15,000,000 per season on the open market.

Jackson will enter his 10th season in the NFL in 2017 and is one of fastest and most dangerous deep threats in the game today.

In his 9 seasons in the NFL Jackson has had over 1000 received yards on 5 occasions and 2 season falling just short of the 1000 yard mark, proving he would be a geniune assest to any team that signs him

DeSean Jackson wants to end his career with a great quarterback and whilst the names of Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger seem unlikely there is none better then quarterback on the rise then Jameis Winston.

Winston is going to be a super star in the NFL, there is no doubting that, but he needs a true WR2 that can partner Mike Evans to be one of the dangerous offensive units in the league and it looks like Tampa Bay have made this happen.

A potential pairing of Mike Evans and Jackson would allow Winston the opportunity to throw the ball vertically on both sides of the field.

When Winston was asked about Jackson he replied: “You better believe we want DeSean here,”

The Deal between the Buccs and Jackson is believed to be worth between $12-14 million per season for 4 seasons.
