Kieren Jack missed the entire JLT series and is racing the clock as he tries to overcome a hip injury. Jack will need to prove to coach John Longmire that he is good to go to take on Port Adelaide.

There were early concerns over defender Aliir Aliir with a possible toe injury keeping out of round 1, but it is understood the key defender is a certain starter.
