The Titans have signed Sydney Roosters Dale Copley for the remaining of the 2017.
Copley, 25, signed a 3-year deal with the Roosters before the start of the 2016 season, after being released by the Broncos to free up salary cap.
Now he has been moved on again, to ease the salary cap pressure at the Roosters and also to fill the needs of the Titans who been struck down with a number of injuries, early into the season.
Former Captain Will Zillman is struggling with a calf strain, Daniel Vidot is to miss selection with a groin injury, English import Dan Sarginson is out with a knee complaint, John Olive is unavailable with a pectoral injury and super star Jarryd Hayne is out for at least a month with a ankle ligament injury.
Coach Neil Henry Henry said Copley looked like the “right fit” for the club that sits 14th on the ladder without a win as of yet.
“He could certainly be the right fit”. Henry Said
“We could use some outside backs at the moment.”
Copley has made 86 NRL appearances scoring 36 tries. He played 14 games for the Roosters in 2016 and scored 5 tries. The Gold Coast Titans are believed to announce this signing within 48hrs.
