Huddersfield Giants deny Warrington Wolves Victory in Ben Harrison’s Testimonial Game with a tough fought 0-12 victory.
In a night what was spose to be a celebration for Ben Harrison’s and his 220 game loyal service for the Wolves, It was Hudderfields that kept Warrington scoreless for the entire of the game.
The first half the fans witnessed a tough scoreless half, with plenty of attacking drives, but were all held out by solid defence from both sides.
But it just took 7 minutes after half time for the first points to be put on the board with Ryan Hinchcliffe breaking the Wolves line and setting up Ryan Brierley to score. Danny Brough making the conversion to give the Giants a 6 point lead early in the second half.
Strong Defence from the Giants kept the Wolves at bay and at the 70 minutes mark it was Kruise Leeming who put the game to bed with a mistake from the Wolves leading to Leeming crossing the line for the Giants second TRY and with the conversion good from Danny Brough to make it a 0-12 final score line.
