Talk is beginning to surface that Seattle Seahawks are prepared to offload Jimmy Graham for the 2017.
Graham was traded to the Seattle Seahawks from the New Orleans Saints for center Max Unger and the Seahawks first-round selection in the 2015 NFL draft.
Graham, 30, is set to receive $10 million next season and if he remains on Seattle’s roster by March 12, Graham will receive an additional $2 Million bonus.
If Seattle were to release Graham before the 12th of Match, the Seahawks would save $10 Million against the cap, as Graham has no dead money that will work on next seasons salary.
It is understood Graham is not totally satisfied with his position in the team and his dip in numbers from his New Orleans days.
A number of teams have flagged interest in Jimmy Graham for next season if he comes available, with a potential of Graham reuniting with former QB Drew Brees back in New Orleans.
