James Tedesco Set to Backflip on Sydney Roosters Deal

James Tedesco set to Back-flip on his Sydney Roosters Deal to Sign with rival team.

Tedesco, 24, is set to back-flip on his 4 year-deal believed to be worth between $1.3 – $1.4 million dollar per season to join the Parramatta Eels.

With the cooling off period set to expire on the Roosters-Tedesco deal, it is understood that the Parramatta Eels have made a In a 11th hour bid and have convinced Tedesco to join them and it could happen as soon as the 2017 season.

The Deal is believe to include a player swap between Tedesco and Clint Gutherson to join the Wests Tigers before the June 30th cut off date.

Coach Ivan Cleary only wants fully committed players who ‘want’ to play for the Tigers in his run out side.

This would not be the first time James Tedesco has back-flipped on a deal, pulling out on a deal with the Canberra Raiders back in 2014.

Tedesco opted to renege on a $1.8 million three-year deal with the Green Machine, to re-sign with the Tigers, after a long chat with then Tigers star Robbie Farah.

Fast-forward to 2017 and Tedesco looks to be at it again, but this time to join Parramatta instead of remaining at the Tigers. A massive coup for the Eels if the rumours are true.

More to Come.
