It is understood Jordan Kahu is weighing up a contract offer that has been tabled by the warriors for the 2018 season and beyond.
Kahu, 26, enters the final year of his contract with Brisbane Broncos and is believed to be wanting to return to New Zealand where he and his partner are originally from.
The couple welcomed their daughter Jayla into the world in 2015 and are believed to be looking at a moving back to New Zealand to be closer to their family. Kahu is from Lower Hutt, in the Wellington region of New Zealand.
Kahu who’s career has been troubled with plenty of injuries, including two ACL ruptures between 2011-12 whilst playing in the Broncos NYC team. Then in 2016 he had two pectoral tears he had to overcome.
Kahu will be hoping to end his time at the Brisbane Broncos on a high. He has managed to make 55 appearances for the Broncos, scoring 31 tries. Kahu has also represented New Zealand on 8 separate occasions.
