Kevin Brown and the Widness Vikings have agreed to terms with the Warrington Wolves.
Brown, 32, signed with the Wolves yesterday whilst on holiday in Cancun. A 3-year-deal that will see him play out his remainder of his career with Warrington.
It is understood that St Helens were interested, but were only offering the Widness Vikings with a $50-70k transfer fee. Warrington in search for a half after the sudden departure of Chris Sandow offered the Vikings $110,000 transfer fee and they accepted, trumping the Saints low ball offer.
Current Captain of the Vikings who joined the club in 2013 said the hardest things was informing his teammates of his and the clubs decision for a move.
Brown will now play along side Kurt Gidley and should be a hot favourite for Man of Steel in the 2017 season.
