OFFENSE

Quarterback –  Colin Kaepernick

(29 years old)

Kaepernick has declined every single year since 2013. It is reported that he has refused to put the appropriate amount of work into film study. Kaepernick still has good potential, as a starting quarterback. but most likely will end up as a decent backup.

Running Back – Adrian Peterson 

(31 years old)

Adrian Peterson’s $18 million option wasn’t picked up by the Vikings, meaning he’ll be a free agent on March 9. Peterson was hurt while playing behind an poor offensive line. He’ll be better in 2017, Peterson could have two strong seasons remaining in the tank.

Wide Receiver 1 – Alshon Jeffery

(27 years old)

Alshon Jeffery is a very talented, big receiver, but he hasn’t been able to stay on the field. Whether it’s an injury or a PED-related suspension. When healthy is dangerous in the Red Zone.

Wide Receiver 2 – Brandon Marshall

(31 years old)

Brandon Marshall had posted 1,000-plus yards in eight of nine seasons heading into 2016, but he saw his production drop last year, as he caught 59 balls for 788 yards and three touchdowns. Due to terrible quarterbacking and he suffered multiple injuries. Marshall should rebound in 2017 if he find a quality QB to pass it to him.

Wide Receiver 3 – DeSean Jackson

(33 years old)

DeSean Jackson produced the fifth 1,000-yard season of his 9-year pro career in 2016, but turns 30 in the process. Jackson will continue to be a downfield threat in 2017, but he’ll lose some of his speed as he grows older.

Tight End – Martellus Bennett

(30 years old)

Bennett caught 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns this past season, and was one of Tom Brady’s primary Red Zone targets after the injury to Rob Gronkowski. Bennett is also a quality blocker and teams will be lining up to secure the Super Bowl winning Tight End.

Left Tackle – Andrew Whitworth

(35 years old)

Whitworth has been one of the top left tackles in the NFL for a very long time and at 35 years old he can still get the job done and protect his QB.

Left Guard – T.J. Lang

(30 years old)

Injuries restricted T.J. Lang in 2016, but he still proved that he is one of the top guards in the NFL.

Center – Nick Mangold

(33 years old)

Nick Mangold was once the best center in the NFL. Injuries have restricted the 33-year old in the past 2 seasons, but when healthy there in none better in the league.

Right Guard – Kevin Zeitler

(31 years old)

Kevin Zeitler has been one of the top guards in the league over the past several seasons, possessing no weaknesses in his game.

Right Tackle – Ricky Wagner

(31 years old)

The former fifth-round pick played very well at right tackle in 2016 and is arguably the best Right tackle in free agency. With a number of NFL teams looking to improve their ‘O’ lines in 2017, Wagner will find not shortage of offers come March 9th.
