As we head into Round 3 we rank the top 5 Cash Cows – NRL Fantasy Coaches should consider trading into their squads this week to earn valuable Cash.
5. Tyronne Roberts-Davis ($138,000 – WFB)
We kick off with a rookie who is guaranteed to make money in round 3, as Roberts-Davis round 3 break-even is -3.
Roberts-Davis scored a very respectable 37pts on debut, helped by scoring a try in his first match for the Titans. With spot in the side secure for the short-term, Roberts-Davis is predicted to make coaches $20,000-$25,000k in round 3 and must be in the conversation of players coaches need to consider.
4. Marcelo Montoya ($138,000 – WFB)
Priced at an irressistable $138k and could remain in Des Hasler run on side until at least round 7. Montoya replaces Kerrod Holland who injured his shoulder scoring a try against the roosters, but had to leave the field shortly after.
Holland is expected to be sidelined for at least a month which could be plenty of time for coaches to squeeze some cash our of the rookie.
3. Kalyn Ponga ($148,000 – WFB)
Finally Ponga gets his chance in 2017 and could be one of the most purchased players in NRL Fantasy this week. But, buyers beware his spot in Paul Greens squad could be short lived with Lachlan Coote expected to recover from his calf injury and return the following week.
2. Robert Jennings ($164,000 – CTR/WFB)
Made his debut for the Rabbitohs in round 2 against the Sea Eagles. Jennings scored the first try for the Rabbitohs and his first on debut for the Bunnies. Two line-breaks, 3 tackles along with 139 metres gained on the ground helped deliver a solid 48 points.
Jennings enters round 3 with a break-even of -7, which means just one thing for coaches – CASH COW – and he needs to be considered as he is predicted to make between $25,000-$35,000 for coaches this week. His Dual-position tag add more value to this purchase.
1. Brad Abbey ($138,000 – WFB)
