A shoulder injury to Issac Liu’s forces him out of the side and Zane Tetevano.
Tetevano is a 26-year old former Newcastle Knight player (29 games) who was named at lock in the 2016 Intrust Super Premiership NSW Team of the Year. He signed a 1-year contract with the Roosters and is expected to make his debut for against the Bulldogs.
Chris Smith will now miss out on the round 2 match-up against the Bulldogs.
Coach Trent Robinson has vowed that Connor Watson will find some game time against the Bulldogs as he spent the entire 80 minutes on the pine in round 1. Watson was seen have a larger role in the Captain’s run this week.
