NRL Round 6 – Early Mail: Broncos vs Roosters

Suncorp Stadium – Thursday at 7.50pm

Wayne Bennett is expected to make some changes to his side that lost against the Bulldogs in Round 5.

Centre James Roberts was basically walking on one leg last week after injuring his hamstring early in the game. Roberts trained away from the main squad on a modified program and will find it tough to be right with the quick turn around against the Roosters.

David Mead is expected to make his return to the Broncos lineup replacing the injured Roberts.

Bennett is also tipped to bring in handy utility Kodi Nikorima to take on the Rooster on Thursday night. Nikorima was sensational for Norths on the week end in the Queensland Cup, scoring two tries and setting up another. He roamed all over the field and had made it damn near impossible for Bennett not to select him in round 6
