Christian McCaffrey’s Draft Value is increasing and the Washington Redskins are very Interested in the Dynamic Playmaker
The Washington Redskins head into the 2017 National Draft with pick 17 and will be hoping that Christian McCaffrey is around when their pick comes around.
The former Stanford star was first seen as a late first-round, possible early second round pick before draft camp. But after a strong draft camp performance his value has sky rocketered and unfortunate for Redskins fans, pick 17 now seems like a stretch.
The Washington Redskins have arranged a visit of McCaffrey to their facilities and will determine if the talented running back will be a good fit for their franchise.
The Redskins will be concerned with the Philadelphia Eagles (pick 14) and Indianapolis Colts (pick 15) who have also shown interest in McCaffrey.
The Washington Redskins are in desperate need of defensive help and selecting a defensive player with pick 17, makes sense, but have such a dynamic player available it would be hard not to select such a dangerous attacking threat to for quarterback Kirk Cousin to take advantage of.
McCaffrey is a unique talent that is just as capable as a receiver as he is at running back. When Running the ball, MaCaffrey displays patience to allow his blocks to develop then has the ability to burst through the holes.
McCaffrey can also line up anywhere from out of the backfield or in the slot and would be a fantastic asset for Kirk Cousins.
Adding McCaffrey to Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder inside would give Washington three fantastic receiving threats and adding Terrelle Pryor to the mix, the Redskins could have one of the most potent offense in the league.
