It is believed that Jamaal Charles is set to sign with the Seattle Seahawks on a 1-year deal.
Charles, 30, is currently visiting the Seattle Seahawks and is expected to sign a 1-year deal with the Seahawks, but it all is depending on his medical evaluation by the Seattle medical team.
The former Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was released by the Chiefs in late February, after 9 seasons with the franchise.
Charles was taken by the Chiefs in the 3rd round (pick 73) of the 2008 season. Charles is a 4× Pro Bowl (2010, 2012–2014) and has a impressive stat sheet:
Rushing attempts: 1,332
Rushing yards: 7,260
Rushing average: 5.5
Receiving yards: 2,457
Total touchdowns: 64
Charles has made on 8 appearances for the Chiefs in the past two season. Charles is stating he is now the healthiest he has been in years and believes he has still good some good years left in his legs.
The Seahawks have Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise currently on their roster and it will be interesting to see where Charles will fit into a Pete Carroll offense in 2017.
