Who else would have landed in the No.1 spot, other than Buddy Franklin. He can do it all.

Edged out of the coleman medal by 1 goal by Josh Kennedy, Franklin was back to his stunning best in 2016.

Buddy managed to play every game in 2016, after recovering from his personal issues from 2015. It was evident that Franklin was enjoying football again and his performance on the field showed.

Franklin earned his sixth All-Australian selection and vowed to only get bigger and better in 2017.
