The Search is on for the Wests Tigers as they look to replace Aaron Woods and James Tedesco and Show Interest in Connor Watson.
The Wests Tigers have reportedly made contact with the Sydney Roosters regarding the availability of talented young utility Connor Watson. The Tigers believe Watson could fill the void left by Star Fullback James Tedesco.
Watson, 20, recently signed a 12-month contract extension that will see him remain at Bondi until the 2018 season, however the recent signing of James Tedesco is expected to see the Rooster re-assess their playing list to fit under the salary cap.
Watson currently stuck in reserve-grade playing fullback and will struggle to crack into the Roosters line-up going forward, Mitchell Pearce and Luke Keary dominating in the halves and with James Tedesco owning the No.1 jersey.
The Wests Tigers and the Sydney Roosters are understood to commenced a open dialogue in the attempt to agree on a outcome that suits both teams.
Watson wants to play first grade and understands to do this, a move from Bondi maybe the only possible solution and is believed to have contacted his manager to discuss possible options.
Watson has made 21 appearance for the Roosterss since making his debut in round 7 of the 2016 NRL season, against the Penrith Panthers.
